Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Go to jobsyja.com/register and sign up with your email, Google, Apple, or phone number. You can switch between customer and provider mode anytime from the dashboard.

How do I post a job?

Click "Post a Job" from the homepage or dashboard. Describe the work, set your budget and deadline, upload photos, and submit. Providers in your parish will see it and start bidding.

How do I bid on a job?

Switch to Provider mode in the dashboard. Browse the job feed, find a job that matches your skills, and submit a bid with your price, timeline, and proposal.

How do I leave a review?

After a contract is completed, you will be able to leave a review for the other party.

Contracts and Payments

What happens after my bid is accepted?

Jobsy automatically generates a digital contract. Both you and the customer must sign it within 48 hours. If either party does not sign, the contract expires and the job re-opens.

How do payments work?

For now, arrange payment directly with your provider after accepting their bid. Secure in-app payments are coming soon and will include a 5% platform fee, dispute resolution, and automatic payout to your Banking settings.

When do providers get paid?

Until in-app payments go live, providers agree payment terms directly with the customer as part of the contract. Once in-app payments launch, providers will be paid automatically after the customer confirms the job is complete.

Can I cancel a contract?

Either party can request cancellation through the platform. The other party must approve it. Cancellation fees from the original bid terms may apply.

For Providers

How do I get verified?

In Provider mode, go to Settings and scroll to the Verification section. Upload a government-issued ID (TRN, passport, or driver's licence). We review documents within 2-3 business days.

How do I win more bids?

Write detailed proposals, price competitively, respond quickly, and build your reputation with positive reviews. Verified providers with Pro or Business plans get priority placement.

Can I manage subcontractors?

Yes. In Provider mode, go to Contractors in the sidebar. You can add subcontractors, create pay slips, and track project profitability.

What if there is a scheduling conflict?

Jobsy automatically checks your active contracts when you bid. If you have an active contract that overlaps with a job's dates, you will not be able to bid on it.
